Цель: Развитие навыков просмотрового и изучающего чтения; тренировка навыков выразительного рассказывания стихотворения; закрепление речевого образца “I have been to…”; совершенствование лексических навыков по теме «Лица Лондона»; активизация навыков устной речи по теме: «Лондон»; тренировка навыков аудирования.

Ход урока:

I. Оргмомент:
Stand up. Good morning boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. Sit down. How are you? Who is absent today? What date is it today?

II. Фонетическая зарядка. Потренируем наши язычки. Где же наша обезьянка? Она собирается на прогулку. Закрыла кран с водичкой. Как бежит вода в домике? [s][s] [s]
Обезьянка идет на прогулку. Вот обезьянка пришла в лес. В лесу прохладно, дует ветерок.   1. Активизиция аудитивных навыков и страноведческого материала. We have read the stories about some places of interest in the capital of Great Britain. Listen to me and try to guess what place I will describe.
  1. Visiting this place you can act in a Hollywood Western, Select a film to watch or even draw your own cartoon film. During your visit you can also meet characters from the past. You will enjoy your visit to this place. (The museum of the Moving Image)
  2. It is one of the sights of London. You can meet great characters of history and art there. Actors, film stars, pop-singers and sportsmen come face to face with famous politicians. It has one of the largest collections of wax modals in the world (Madame Tussaud’s museum)
  3. This park is the property of the Royal family. It is famous its outdoor entertainments and its Speaker’s Corner. One a Sunday morning you can make a speech about something you believe to be very important (Hyde Park)
  4. You can find London Zoo and booting lake in this park. In summer you can enjoy Shakespear’s plays in the open-air theatre there (Regent’s Park)
